On my drive home today (stuck for miles behind two slow oversized load trucks) I was thinking excitedly about our roadtrip vacation that we are beginning tomorrow. The final song that came on the radio in those final miles was very fittingly Route 66. " If you ever plan to motor west, travel my way, take the highway that's the best. Get your kicks on route 66..."

Well the great road trip begins tomorrow. Boy it's going to be an adventure. I'll keep you posted along the way.
