Ahhhh..... Finally cooler temperatures, no more desert and more importantly no more heat! Today we drove to Santa Fe for bit of shopping. I would have preferred to do a bit more sightseeing there but since I seem to be the only nerd in the family into that kind of thing I was quickly overruled and we headed further into the mountains and ended up in Taos. I love it here! Quaint Southwestern adobe architecture, mountains and most importantly much cooler temperatures - like 30f cooler than Carlsbad.
Not so many pictures today. Tomorrow we head into Colorado and to the cabin we have booked for the next 3 nights.'
