Abate and Fantu get into the habit of saying the same things repeatedly. Some things are really cute and sometimes what they say can get really annoying. A few weeks back Abate got into the habit of always answering "It's not my problem" (think sarcastic 13 yr. old). After a few weeks of that it was getting to be a real problem. After a few replies back of " oh it's going to be your problem" or "if it's a problem that affects the family it affects you", well he kind of stopped. So his latest is "I've got a question"? He then proceeds to ask his question. It is cute but it's several dozen times a day! Oh he is curious about everything! It's to the point where I cant' help but laugh when he says it. I don't think I'd notice the frequency of the questions if he didn't always start it with "I've got a question"?
Fantu on the other hand several times a day says " Mom do you know one thing"? I usually reply to her that I hope I know more than one thing. She then just wants to confirm that I know the who, what where, when, why or some other crazy thing that she just happened to see, do, think of, etc. It really is cute and it sure beats hearing her other favorite thing to say "I'm hungry, what is there to eat?"
I'm looking forward to getting home with her this evening as her new dress for her Baptism and First Communion was delivered earlier. I hope it is as pretty as it was in the photos. She will look like a princess in it. We still have all the accessories to buy and we've to get Abate a new suit. Hope to have everything purchased before the month is over, then portraits taken in March, Baptism in April (date set soon) and First Communion on May 1st. Should be an exciting time for everyone.
