Woo hoo hoo! that's Abate's catch phrase - how fitting is that! What an incredible trip! What an amazing place and best of all the people! It's hard to put it into words the past week.
Abate and Fantu are kids that truly inspire. Abate has an amazing talent on the soccer pitch. He really could be destined for a career in the game. 3 goals - a hat trick in a game on Thursday. Fantu has a love of music and is blessed with the voice of an angel. On Tuesday night we were without electricity at the orphanage and in the family room - located on the 4th floor she sat in the window overlooking the hills of Addis and sang for over an hour. I just get goosebumps thinking about it.
I will post a few photos and plan on a longer post with more detail about the trip when I get some quiet time alone.
