District Meet 2400m April 6,2011

Well this video probably says it all. 2400m District Champion. He won by 250m and while only wearing one shoe for half the race. Everyone was so amazed by his achievement. Look at that form! I have really been bragging to everyone about him. Proud mama - you bet! I hate to see the end of track season. 5 months until Cross Country running starts up. It will be a bit tougher in the 9th grade as he will be running 3 miles instead of the 2 he ran these past two years. Training starts in August, but I will probably have him running throughout the summer. I hope to have some photos and video of the 1600m race to out up in the next day or so. I also want to get a picture taken of him with all his medals. he'll double his weight if he wears them all at once! How do the parents of Olympians hold all that pride in - I think I would explode!
