Bean Sprouts

Have you ever planted beans? Notice how quickly they sprout and grow? It's as though you can almost see them grow.
Well that's how I've been feeling lately with Abate. T-shirts that he had been wearing for months were just overnight too small, his jeans too short, and his shoes too small. I look at him in his bed and almost daily he seems to be catching up to it in length. He also seemed to be catching up to his sister. Just 2 months ago she was 2 inches taller.
Yesterday we all stayed home due to ice on the roads. No school. No work. So at one point they decided it was time to get measured again.
Fantu came in at 5ft. 1 1/2 inches.
Abate at 5 ft. 1 1/4 inches.
That's an increase of 1/4 inch for Fantu and 2 inches for Abate. We last measured them in early December. It's no wonder we never have any food in the house. He's definitely eating more than bean sprouts.
