2nd Place!

Wednesday was Cross Country race day. The meet was back in Aquilla - same location as in September but a different course. Abate placed 2nd in the Jr. High Boys Division. Gatesville teams won 1st place in both the Boys and Girls events. Abate was so excited last night - and still this morning. He's now 4 races and 4 top 10 finishes with Medals! Fantu even said she was proud of him , but just for the day. I think she is his toughest critic. He has one more meet the District event on the 28th at Lake Whitney. His confidence is high!
Looking forward to the weekend now. Abate has 3 soccer games - 11am, 1 pm and 2 pm. The weather is forecast to be beautiful - sunny and low 70's!
